Seemless LED tape is available in 2 guises, One is known as COB and the other is spotless/dotless. Both types give a solid strip of light once installed, for best results it's recommended to place in a LED profile. These profiles allow for multiple installations areas including Bathrooms and Kitchens.

COB LED Tape

COB stands for Chip on Board, meaning the LED diodes are built directly into the printed circuit board with a strip over the top acting as a ‘diffuser’ enabling a seamless finish when illuminated. The main advantage of this technology is that there is no visible spotting, even when used in more shallow LED profiles and spaces, this ensures the finished installation will present a seamless uninterrupted finish. This makes our COB Continuous LED Tape perfect for high-end professional and commercial installations. The high build quality and components will assure long lasting performance and reliability. 

Spotless LED Tape

The LED strip is something of an unsung hero of lighting design. Skillful use of flexible strip can create wonderful accent lighting pieces and can highlight specific features of a space to great effect. Integral's new Spotless Strip creates the effect of one seamless beam of light by utilising very small LEDs (2016 SMD) arranged in a close formation, which effectively eliminates the visible shadow present in many LED strips. The spotless effect works best when the strip is installed in an aluminium profile, which has the added benefit of giving the strip greater protection. The Spotless strip has a high colour rendering index of CRI 90 and is very bright at up to 1550 lm/M, which means the strip can be used to create custom designer luminaires.

LED Profile

LED Strip Profiles (also known as Extrusion) are designed to complement the range of IP33, IP65 and IP67 Flexible LED Strips. There is a range of Strip Profiles, including Surface Mounted, Recessed and Corner Surface Mounted. Strip Profiles can be useful for furniture lighting, glass cabinet, counter lighting and ceiling decorating light. Strip Profiles also keep IP33 LED strips away from dust and give better heat dissipating for LED strips to extend lifetime.
